Mastering Leadership
All enterprises need a sense of direction. The ideas of leadership have changed greatly in recent years. Today we try to represent these changes with a broader understanding of the term “leadership.”
Besides the obvious questions of what a company produces, for whom, by which means, with whom it cooperates … leadership increasingly asks how and by whom these decisions are made.
Be it by a single person, a small group or by changing circles of people within an organization: leadership needs to be assumed, regardless of the different formulas. Which types of leadership enable healthy cooperation as well as brilliant results within any given company?
Leadership is a spectrum
Our current understanding of leadership appears to be more “democratic” and “modern” compared to older concepts. We now think more in terms of participation and matching organizational structures, which may include agile ones. However, it is not always clear how much direct control leadership should exert, and where it should be limited to a mere facilitation. In other words, what does leadership mean in terms of taking responsibility for people, processes, working culture and outcomes? What is the goal of leadership and which aspects are conducive to its attainment? How will a new leader find his or her role and develop their team well?
Leadership requires specific skills
Leadership requires skills in the areas of self-reflection, communication, motivation and facilitation. These are developed within executive coaching. Only leadership that has been well-positioned will provide strength and align productive work with an organization’s vision (Künzli 20051). Angel Ramírez will support you with suitable formats to develop an appropriate leadership style matching your personality and the goals of your enterprise. Access your true leadership.
